Common Name or Meaning The Rough Bulbophyllum [refers to the papillose margins and abaxial surface of the sepals]

Flower Size 1/4" [.8 cm]

Found in Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 1500 to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome giving rise to ellipsoid to orbicular, slightly flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, rigid, ovate to elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying non fragrant flowers
