Found in southern Yunnan province of China, Thailand and Myanmar in evergreen broadleaved forests as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 900 to 1700 meters with ovoid-oblong, lumpy pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, deciduous, thin, narrowly oblanceolate leaf and blooming in the winter on a 10" [25 cm] long, decurved, sheathed inflorescence with pendant, fragrant musky scented flowers.

This plant requires high humidity and regular waterings as well as partial shade.
