Found in east northeastern Madagascar in humid, evergreen forests on plateau at elevations around 750 to 1700 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] between each oblong, 4 angled pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, ligulate leaves that blooms in the winter through spring on an erect, rachis greenish, 2.4 to 3.6" [6 to 9 cm] long, 7.2 to 10" [18 to 25 cm] long overall, densely many flowered inflorescence.
