Found in central and northwestern Madgascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations of 800 to 900 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with 2.4" [6 cm] between each narrowly oblong, 4 angled pseudobulb carrying 2, apical, erect, ligulate leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, 12 to 15.2" [30 to 38 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence
