Found in western Sumatra as a miniature to small sized epiphyte without collection data with close set, obliquely ovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, fleshy, lanceolate, paler beneath with some brown spotting, narrowing below into the channeled, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, peduncle terete becoming thicker towards the apex, rachis 1.6 to 2.2" [4 to 5.5 cm] long, thickened, 7.4 to 10.4" [18.5 to 26 cm] long overall, sucessively single, several flowered inflorescence with 2 ranked, clasping the rachis, triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying unpleasantly scented flowers.
