Found in northwestern Guangxi province of China on rocks in forests at elevations of 900 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing lithophyte with a creeping rhizome with .4 to 1" [1 to 2.5 cm] between each ovoid-conic to narrowly ovoid, ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic-oblong, obtuse, slightly emarginate, conduplicate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the latewinter and early spring on an erect, basal, yellowish with red purple dots, .4" [6 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with narrowly oblong, boat shaped floral bracts and the flowers held in an apical umbel.
