Found on Benguet in the Philippines at elevations around 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] between each pear-shaped, erect, tapering towards the apex pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, leathery, oblong-lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, grooved, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall and early winter on an erect, basal or from the rhizome, slender, .88 to 1.2" [1.9 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with tubular bracts.
