Found in New Guinea in range forests on trees at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] between each cylindrical pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-ligulate, apiculate, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the later spring on a long-pedunculate, muricate-asperate, to 10" [25 cm] long, dense, 8 to 20 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts

Schlechter states that the flowers are yellow green with a pink tinge.
