Found in New Guinea in montane forests at elevations around 1200 to 2400 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each minute, cylindric pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, thickly fleshy, narrowly lanceolate, apiculate to acute, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the early winter on an erect, very short, provided with a few small bracts, single flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
