Found in southwestern Madagascar in dry or subhumid forests at elevations of sea level to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid-oblong pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, elliptic-oblong leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, rachis recurved, 5.2 to 6" [13 to 15 cm] long, 30 to 50 flowered inflorescence.
