Found in Sumatra and Java at elevations around 2380 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a creeping and occsionally branching rhizome with .4 to 1.6" [1 to 4 cm] between each ovoid, pale green, shiny pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly lanceolate, acute leaf that blooms on a more or less erect, arising from the rhizomes, peduncle thin, to .36" [9 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence
