Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil at elevations around 850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .4" [1 cm] between each, pyriform, laterally compressed pseudodbulb carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, fleshy, elliptic, rounded and slightly apiculate, narrowing below into the shortly conduplicate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a basal, pendent, short, single flowered inflorescence.
