Found Sulawesi in forests, open woodlands, streamside trees, pole trees on steep rock faces or on shrubs on rocky slopes at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a small sized. warm growing epiphyte with a pendulous, sparsely branched rhizome with hardly persistent bracts, giving rise to distinct, .06 to .08" [.15 to .2 cm] between each oblique, ovoid-cylindrical, not angular pseudobulb, new shoots, deeply embedded in a furrow in the basal, 2/3 to 3/4's of the pseudobulb and adnate to it, only then ariisng and free, and carrying a single, apical, ovate to elliptic, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a descending, peduncle .04" [.1cm] long, provided with a single bract, .2 to .24" [.5 to .6 cm] long, overall, single flowered inflorescence with an acute, longer than the ovary floral bract
