Found in southern Yunnan province of China and northern Thailand in forests on tree trunks at elevations of 1100 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with about .8" to 1.4" between each cylindric to oblong pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly oblong, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late winter to early spring on a basal, short, umbel-like, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with several tubular sheaths and lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
