Common Name Van Vuuren's Bulbophyllum

Found in the New Guinea and Sulawesi in forests close to lake shores at elevations of 300 to 500 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 1/2 to .68" between each ovoid, non angular pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, elliptic to obovate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the .75 to 3.2" [1.8 to 8 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a erect to patent becoming porrect, lax, racemose, to 20" [to 50 cm] long, slightly fractiflex to not, successively single to 8 flowered inflorescence.
