Found in Madagascar, Mauritius and Reunion at elevations of sea level to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an orbicular pseudobulb carrying two, apical, linear, acute, conduplicate below into the basally clasping leaf that blooms in the later spring through summer on a basal, erect, successively few to several flowered inflorescence
