Found in Madagascar, Mauritius and Reunion at elevations of sea level to 800 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, warm growing epiphyte with an orbicular pseudobulb carrying two, apical, linear, acute, conduplicate below into the basally clasping leaf that blooms in the later spring through summer on a basal, erect, successively few to several flowered inflorescence
