Found in Malaysia, Borneo and the Philippines in lowland and mangrove forests at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .4 to 1.4" [1 to 3.5 cm] between each discoid, not flattened pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, rather thick, elliptic to obovate, medium green, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a basal, .6 to 2.2" [1.5 to 5.5 cm] long, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and carrying scentless flowers
