Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations of 800 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with .6 to .8 [1.5 to 2 cm] between each, cylindric pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly ligulate, acute, gradually narrowing into the narrow petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, slender, provided with a few distant peduncle-scales, successively single, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence with thin, cucullate, apiculate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying cleistogamus, glabrous flowers
Schlechter states the the flowers are yelloow green with whte petals and column
