Common Name The Blistered Bulbophyllum
Flower Size .32" [8 mm]
Found in New Guinea on trees in old mangrove, podzolic and scrubland forests at elevations around sea level to 1200 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with .4 to 1.2" [1 to 3 cm] between each ellipsoid to obovoid, 3 to 4 angled pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-ovate, obtuse to acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the on an erect, .48 to .8" [1.2 to 2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
