Common Name or Meaning Warming's Bulbophyllum [Danish Plant Collector Brazil late 1800's]

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in the foothills of Minas Gerais and Goias states of Brazil on exposed rocks often in full sun as a warm to cool growing lithophyte with ovoid, rugose, reddish pseudobubs carrying a single, apical, elliptic, obtuse leaf that flowers in the fall on an erect, basal, 2' [60 cm] long, bracteate inflorescence arising with a new growth carrying several, fragrant flowers.

CAUTION!!! Many references cite this as a synonym of B exaltatum but I have left them separate for now pending more research.
