Common Name Werner's Bulbophyllum [French Botanist 1900's]

Found in Papua and New Guinea at elevations of 100 to 350 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with 3 1/4" to 4" between each cylindrical pseudobulb and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong-ligulate, obtuse, subpetiolate-attenuate below, glabrous leaf that blooms in the spring through fall on a 3/4", single flowered inflorescence with cucullate bracts and carrying a watermelon scented flower.
