Found in Queensland Australia in rainforests on upper branches of trees at elevations of 900 to 1200 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphtye with a thin, creeping, branched rhizome and carrying well spaced, flattened, faintly grooved pseudobulbs carrying a single, dark green, fleshy, thick leaf that blooms in the fall and winter on a .8 to .12" [2 to 3 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence
