Found in Sulawesi in montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a hanging rhizome with .4 to 3/4" [1 to 2.2 cm] between each ellipsoid to obovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall through spring on a basal, porrect, .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
