Found in penninsular Malaysia on rocks in montane forests at elevations around 270 to 800 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, smooth pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, apically shortly, bluntl pointed, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winteron an erect, peduncle to 1.6" [4 cm] long, rachis to 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, 3.2 to 3.6" [8 to 9 cm] long overall to 12 flowered inflorescence.
