Found in New Guinea as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with elongate, thin, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, conduplicate, basally narrowing into a petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring and summer on a very short, single flowered inflorescence with the flower held at the leaf and pseudobulb junction.
