Common Name The Four Angled Cadetia [refers to the stem]

Found in Vanuatu in forests and coconut plantations at elevations of sea level to 100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect, sharply quadrangular in cross-section stem enveloped in the basal half by close, sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect to arcuate, coriaceous, linear to oblanceolate, obtuse leaf that blooms on an axillary, very short, single flowered inflorescence and carrying white to creamy white flowers.

Easily separated from the common C hispida by the quadrangular in crossestion stems and the glabrous ovary and lip.
