Found in Tasmania in remnant grassy woodlands at elevations around 180 to 200 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
