Found in southwestern Western Australia on slopes with she-oak and granite outcrops at elevations around 200 to 320 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
