Common Name The Short Leaved Caladenia - The Red Leaf Fingers Orchid

Flower Size 1/2" to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm]

Found in Queensland in open forests amongst shrubs at elevations of 200 to 500 meters as a miniature to just small sized, as a cool to cold growing terrestrial with a prostrate, thin, linear, pubescent, reddish beneath leaf that blooms in the fall through early winter on an erect, 3.2 to 6.4" [8 to 16 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
