A miniature sized, Australian [New South Wales and Victoria], cold to cool growing terrestrial species occuring in drier woodland and forest in well drained soils at elevations of 100 to 900 meters with a round tuber giving rise to an erect, brown red, becoming white pilose above stem carrying a single, linear, pilose, basally clasping acute leaf with a lanceolate, acute sheath below the middle and blooms on a terminal, erect, to 10" [to 25 cm] long, one to several [5] flowered, racemose inflorescence with a lemon scented flower that occurs in the spring.
