Found in the Philippines at elevations of 1900 to 2000 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with scarcely noticable pseudobulbs carrying 3, lanceolate to oblong-elliptic, acuminate, shortly pubescent beneath, gradually narrowing below into the grooved, slender petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, longer than the leaves, peduncle pubescent, to 40" [100 cm] long, rachis to 8" [20 cm] long, overall 48" [120 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with persistent, lanceolate, pubescent floral bracts.
