Found in southwestern Western Australia in shrubs and herbs in wandoo woodlands in well drained soil on slopes near streams at elevations around 150 to 250 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
