Common Name The Yellow Caladenia - In Australia - The Cowslip Orchid
Flower Size 2" [to 5 cm]
Found in southwestern Australia in coastal woodlands to inland granite outcrops at elevations around 2150 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with glandular, pubescent stems carrying pubescent, lanceolate leaves and blooms in the mid summer through mid fall in the northern hemisphere on a 4 to 20" [10 to 40 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
