Common Name The Yellow Caladenia - The Cowslip Orchid
Flower Size 2" [to 5 cm]
Found in SW Australia in coastal woodlands to inland granite outcrops at elevationd of 5 to 250 meters as a small to medium sized, cold to cool growing terrestrial orchid with glandular, pubescent stems carrying pubescent, lanceolate leaves and blooms on a 4 to 20" [10 to 40 cm] long, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence occuring in the mid summer through mid fall in the northern hemisphere.
