Found in southeastern Queensland and northeastern New South Wales in coastal heathlands amid low wiry shrubs and alos in mountains around swamps and seepages at elevations of sea level to 1000 meters as a medium szied, cool growing terrestrial with a fully developed leaf at blooming, occuring in the spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, wiry, 1 to 15 flowered inflorescence carrying short lived flowers.
