Common Name Harrington's Caladenia - The Pink Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2 to 2.8" [5 to 17 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia on winter wet flats or around freshwater lakes at elevations around 20 to 250 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrow, linear, pubescent, obtuse leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying sickly sweet scented flowers.
