Common Name The Lechang Calanthe [A city in Guangdong State China] - In China Le Chang Xia Ji Lan

Flower Size 1.4" [3.6 cm]

Found in northern Guangdong China at elevations around 100 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with conic, small pseudobulbs with 3 sheaths and carrying a single, plicate, not well developed at blooming, not deciduous, broadly elliptic, glabrous, slightly undulate margins, acute, gradually narrowing below into the slender, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, puberulent, to 14" [35 cm] long, laxly 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence,

CAUTION I do not have a great photo to work with here and there are more than 4 to 5 flowers so use with extreme caution.
