Flower Size .56 to .8" [1.4 to 2 cm]

Found in Tasmania Australia at elevations of 0 to 150 meters in coastal scrub, sedgeland, heathland and heathy forests as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, very short, often reddish leaf that blooms in the spring and early summer on an erect, 6 to 16" [15 to 40 cm] long, wiry, 1 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
