Common Name Roe's Caladenia - Common Clown Orchid

Flower Size .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm]

Found in Western Australia at elevations of 100 to 400 meters in shrublands, mallee vegetation, granite outcrops and sandplain heath as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, basal, pilose, linear leaf that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an erect, 4.8 to 12" [12 to 30 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence
