Common Name The Pink Spotted Caladenia - The Rosella Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2 1/4" [6 cm]

Found only in Victoria Australia at elevations of 50 to 250 meters mainly on dry western slopes of woodlands and open forests, in well drained skeletal soils, as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single, pilose leaf that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, pubescent, to 6 3/4" [17 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying musky scented flowers
