Common Name The Late Coming Arachnorchis - The Christmas Spider Orchid [Refers to it's blooming in December]

Flower Size 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm]

Found in western Australia at elevations of 100 to 350 meters ion coastal scrub, shrubby forests and woodlands as a cold growing terrestrial orchid with a single, linear, pilose leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, 10 to 24" [25 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence
