Common Name The Start's Caladenia - The Start's Spider Orchid

Flower Size 2.4 to 3.6" [6 to 9 cm]

Found in southwest Western Australia in moist and wet soils in flats depressions and swamps at elevations of 120 to 250 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, linear, pubescent leaf and blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 8 to 24" [20 to 60 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
