Found in Cameroon, Angola, Central African Republic, Congo, Eritrea, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory coast, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zaire, Zambia, and Zimbabwe [Also in Brazil?] in riverine forests and wooded grasslands at elevations around 900 to 1900 meters as a medium sized, monopodial, warm to cool growing, monopodial epiphyte and occasional lithophyte on rock outcroppings with a woody, pendant to horizontal stem carrying numerous, distichous, oblong to strap-shaped, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically, fleshy, olive green leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a very short, several [6 to 12] flowered inflorescence that arises opposite of the leaves and carrying lemon scented flowers that open white and turn apricot with age.
