Found in Costa Rica on citrus trees at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with an obsolete stem giving rise to flat, flexuous, glabrous, orange tipped roots that blooms in the late winter on 1 to many, filiform, scurfy, 1" [2.5 cm] long, distichous, densely to 12 flowered inflorescence with conspicuous, as long as the ovary scarious, ovate, acute, erose margined floral bracts.
