Common Name Gaezer's Cattleya [Brazilian Orchid enthusiast and discoverer of species current]

Flower Size 2.6" [6.5 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais State of Brazil at elevations around 850 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing lithophyte and natural hybrid between C amethestoglossa and C bicolor with strong, erect, sulcate, cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, coriaceous, elliptic leaves that blooms in the fall on an arching, to more than 12" [30 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
