Common Name or Meaning The Broad Lipped Ceratostylis

Found only in Papua New Guinea in lower montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with tubular, slender, glabrous stems basally enveloped by emarcescent sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, terete, acute leaf that blooms in the winter on very short, single flowered inflorescence holding the flower at the apex of the leaf.
