Found in the Philippines on trees at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with terete pseudobulbs enveloped by papery sheaths and carrying folded, fleshy, semi-terete, strongly grooved leaves and blooms on a .33 to 1/2" [8 to 13 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence covered with white, spider-like silky hairs
