Common Name The Large Flowered Ceratandra

Flower Size 1.2" [2.8 cm]

Found only in southwestern and southern South Africa at elevations of sea-level to 450 meters as a fairly robust, medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial occuring along the Cape Province coast in seasonally wet, sandy habitats with linear leaves and blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, to 6" [15 cm] long, densely many flowered infloresence
