Common Name or Meaning The Rayed Ceratostylis

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo, Java, Malaya and Sumatra in lower montane forests in deep shade on tree trunks at elevations of 450 to 1900 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with terete stems enveloped by basal sheaths and carrying s single, apical, erect, linear, acute, sortly petiolate leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, very short, single flowered, shortly pubescent inflorescence carrying a wide open star-shaped flowers.
