Found in New Guinea at elevations around 450 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with terete, glabrous pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, erect, lanceolate, acuminate leaf that blooms in the fall on a short, few flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION!!!!!!!Does not match Schlechter's drawing so use with caution. I have no other references.

Schlechter states that the flowers are reddish on the outside and whitish on the inside with the lip being yellow towards the apex.
