Found in Thailand, Borneo, Java and the Philippines in swampy podosol and hill forests at elevations up to 900 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte with a very short, stems each carrying 4 to 6, pale green, thick, channeled above, denticulate apically leaves taht blooms in the late spring on an axillary, 1" [2.5 cm] long, successively many [30 flowered] flowered inflorescence with short, acute bracts.
